Sam and the team welcome you to The Half Moon Inn, situated in the heart of Strensall. We pride ourselves on our warm welcoming atmosphere, serving good quality drinks and food to both the local community and visitors to the village. We are a dog friendly pub and have a cafe open Monday's, Thursday's, Friday's and Saturday's. So please join us for a drink and bring your best friend along...
The pub was rebuilt in 1803 which replaced a much older building, which had its own brew house and kiln. Back to the present day, we have both BT and Sky sports showing over 4 large screens in the back sports bar. To the front, we have our lounge. A place to sit and relax with a perfectly poured drink and maybe a bite to eat.
Coverage of the Championship match from Vicarage Road. The visitors are looking for another vital win in their quest for an immediate return to the Premier League, as they battle the likes of Leicester City, Ipswich Town and Southampton for an automatic promotion place. These teams met in the reverse fixture back in September, as the Whites scored three second-half goals to win 3-0
Coverage of the top-flight match from Villa Park, as the teams meet for the second time this season. Two goals in two second-half minutes resulted in a share of the spoils in the reverse fixture at Molineux, with Hwang Hee-chan opening the scoring for Wolves before that was swiftly rebutted by Pau Torres, who scored his first goal for the Villans
Coverage of the Premier League match from Gtech Community Stadium. The Bees will have fond memories of the last time they played host to the Red Devils in August 2022, when four goals in the opening 35 minutes saw them claim all three points in a 4-0 victory. The hosts are in dire need of the three points here, having picked up only one point from the last five games and are only five points above the relegation zone
Coverage of the Premier League match from Anfield, where the Seagulls will look to extend their unbeaten run against the Reds here to four matches. A Leandro Trossard hat-trick helped the away side claim a share of the spoils in a 3-3 draw, while the two previous visits yielded a 2-2 draw in the 2021/22 season, and a 1-0 win in the campaign prior to that
Coverage of the Premier League match from Etihad Stadium, as the teams meet for the third time this season. If the Gunners are to win the Premier League for the first time in 20 years, and the first time since they left Highbury, then it is likely they will need to claim all three points here against a City side they have already beaten twice in this campaign, first in the Community Shield and then in the league
